The Success Story of MAHCONF 2020
We hosted the 8th edition of the International Conference on Modern Approach in Humanities – MAHCONF – on February 21-23, 2020 in Rome, Italy. The venue of the event was Sapienza University. It is one of the oldest universities in the world, and, as such, it made for the perfect venue.
We are pleased to report that the event was a massive success. It was attended by a highly diverse group of academics from such countries as India, Algeria, Japan, Poland, Iran, Thailand, Kosovo, UAE, Italy, and numerous others. It was truly a pleasure to observe the attendees engage in vigorous discussions, present their research, offer each other feedback, and brainstorm creative solutions to the fields’ most pressing issues.
Topics covered by the agenda included the effect of pre-Islamic Persian textiles on middle ages Italian silk designs, minimal units in the cinematographic language, convergent philosophy, the English communication needs of music students, and many others. The high quality of the presentations can be attributed to the level of expertise of the scientific committee of the event, which put every submitted abstract and paper through a double-blind review process.
The learning opportunities of the event were, indeed, immersive. However, to make sure the attendees had a rounded experience of the event, we supplemented learning and networking with a social event – a free guided tour of Rome. The city’s rich history and brilliant architecture explain why Rome is one of the most popular tourism destinations.
We hope to see you at MAHCONF 2023!
